  • Lucy irizarry

    Administrator


    Mrs. Irizarry and her husband Joe have three children and two grandchildren. Lucy has experience in office management, presently assisting her husband Joe in the running of their own business. She has worked in the education field as a bi-lingual teacher's aide, a Spanish and History teacher, and as a Special Ed Administrative Assistant. Lucy has been one of the founding members of Faith Christian Academy since 2008. She has held multiple positions on the School Board. "It has been a true blessing for me as well as my family to be part of FCA".  Mrs. Irizarry will be teaching Math 7/6 this year.

  • EDNA LANE

    Vice Administrator, Dean of Students

    Teacher: Middle School History


    Edna Lane was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona.  She is married to Jay and enjoys spending time with him, her adult children, and now grandchildren.  Edna has worked with children since her senior year in high school.  She always knew she wanted to be a teacher and began pursuing her career in education.  She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Education.  She also studied Bilingual Education and also teaches Spanish.  She enjoys cooking and singing in church.


    Edna's goal is to follow the guidance of the Lord where he directs and places her to minister academically and spiritually.

  • Michelle johnson

    Administrative Assistant

    Teacher:  High School Language Arts and Digital Arts


    Michelle Johnson is beginning her fifth year at FCA.  She has an Associates degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.  She and her husband have been married for 35 years, and are the parents of 5 children, who are now young adults.  She homeschooled for 20 years, and taught co-op classes in history, language arts, art, and art history prior to the opportunity to teach full time at FCA. She loves to read and her recent favorite pastime is to listen to an audio book, while painting complex paint-by-number pieces.

  • Naomi Osterbaan

    Teacher: Middle School Language Arts and Science


    Mrs. Osterbaan is an ACSI and AZ State certified teacher. She has been teaching for twenty years, ranging from Kindergarten to 9th grade with most of her teaching experience being in Christian schools. Naomi has two children and a husband who fully supports her teaching at FCA. She is also the proud grandma of one grandson.


     "Being at FCA is a pleasure. Students are eager and willing to learn, parents are supportive and friendly, and it is a delight to work with the staff. The atmosphere at FCA is Christ centered and I feel honored to come each day." 

  • Cheryl Kramer

    Teacher: Middle/High School Math and Science


    Cheryl Kramer moved to Tucson in 1987 to attend the University of Arizona where she received her B.S. in Molecular Biology and her Masters in Business Administration. She worked at the Arizona Cancer Center for 13 years before becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom. Since then, Cheryl has worked as a school secretary, interim school principal, substitute teacher, math tutor and PTO treasurer as well as being involved in numerous volunteer activities. Cheryl and her husband, Ken, have two daughters. 


    Cheryl is a full-time teacher but will remain a member of the administrative team.  She is so excited to be part of the FCA family and loves showing the students how God can be found in math and science.  She will be teaching Math 8/7, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Biology.  


    Cheryl's life passage is Psalm 139.

  • Lisa Lewis

    Teacher: Middle School Bible, High School Spanish


    Lisa Lewis is a third generation missionary kid who was raised in the jungles of South America.  She attended Bible College where she met her husband, Kevin.   They were married in 1986 and they have three grown children.  Lisa served alongside her husband and children for 23 years as a missionary in Colombia and Venezuela, South America and as well as in Mexico.  She has a heart for Latinos and has a passion for all people to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ.  She and Keven moved here to Tucson in 2016.  Both continue serving the Lord, in ministry here in Arizona.  Her desire is to be used by God in the lives of the students.

  • Gay Menditto

    Teacher: Middle School Math, High School Bible, Performing Arts


    Gay Menditto has been involved in education for many years. She has taught in several grade levels and subjects. Her fields have included public, charter, Christian, and homeschool venues. The performing arts is also one of her greatest passions and she has been involved with production for most of her life. She loves students of all ages and endeavors to find ways to challenge and motivate them to find the excitement of learning. Most of all, she loves the Lord her God with all

    her heart and desires that all will come to love Him and embrace His plan for their lives.

  • NOEL JOHNSON

    Teacher: High School History and Government


    Noel Johnson was born and raised in Southern California. He and Beth have been married for 16 years. They have five children between them and 10 grandchildren from the ages of four to thirteen. Noel grew up attending LA county schools, graduated with a BA in History from the University of Redlands and completed his Master’s Degree in 1978 at Cal State University, Long Beach. He has taught history and coached high school athletics for 49 years. Most importantly, he is grateful to have been raised by two Christ centered parents and to have accepted Christ as his personal savior while at a California summer camp called Forest Home in 1960. Noel has taught in middle school and high school as well as at the community college level, and in both public and private Christian programs.  Teaching has never gotten old to him and he continues to love sharing with and learning from students of all ages.
