Meet our Staff

  • Kenneth Kramer

    Administrator


    Ken Kramer is a Tucson native who graduated from the U of A with a B.S. in Planning and Regional Development and a minor in business and finance. He has worked in construction and finance.  In 2019, Mr. Kramer retired from 20 years in Federal Law Enforcement and started at FCA volunteering his time as the Cross Country Coach in 2018.   He joined the staff as a teacher in 2019 and for the past two years has taught a variety of subjects ranging from middle school math to high school Bible and Social Studies.


    Mr. Kramer took over as Administrator at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.  He will be retiring from this position after the 2023-2024 school year.

  • Lucy irizarry

    Financial Manager and Teacher


    Mrs. Irizarry and her husband Joe have three children and two grandchildren. Lucy has experience in office management, presently assisting her husband Joe in the running of their own business. She has worked in the education field as a bi-lingual teacher's aide, a Spanish and History teacher, and as a Special Ed Administrative Assistant. Lucy has been one of the founding members of Faith Christian Academy since 2008. She has held multiple positions on the School Board and is now the Administrative Assistant and Finance Manager at FCA. "It has been a true blessing for me as well as my family to be part of FCA".  Mrs. Irizarry will be teaching Math 7/6 this year.

  • EDNA LANE

    Teacher: Middle School Science and Bible

    Edna Lane was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona.  She is married to Jay and enjoys spending time with him, her adult children, and now grandchildren.  Edna has worked with children since her senior year in high school.  She always knew she wanted to be a teacher and began pursuing her career in education.  She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Education.  She also studied Bilingual Education and also teaches Spanish.  She enjoys cooking and singing in church.


    Edna's goal is to follow the guidance of the Lord where he directs and places her to minister academically and spiritually. 


    Her life verse is Nehemiah 8: 10.  "The joy of the Lord is my strength."

  • NOEL JOHNSON

    Noel Johnson was born and raised in Southern California. He and Beth have been

    married for 16 years. They have five children between them and 10 grandchildren

    from the ages of four to thirteen. Noel grew up attending LA county schools,

    graduated with a BA in History from the University of Redlands and completed his

    Master’s Degree in 1978 at Cal State University, Long Beach. He has taught

    history and coached high school athletics for 49 years. Most importantly, he is

    grateful to have been raised by two Christ centered parents and to have accepted

    Christ as his personal savior while at a California summer camp called Forest

    Home in 1960. Noel has taught in middle school and high school as well as at the

    community college level, and in both public and private Christian programs.

    Teaching has never gotten old to him and he continues to love sharing with and

    learning from students of all ages.

  • Michelle johnson

    Teacher:  Language Arts 9-12, Journalism/Yearbook, History 8


    Michelle Johnson is beginning her third year at FCA  Michelle is teaching High School English and World History.  She has an Associates degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.  She and her husband have been married for 32 years, and are the parents of 5 children, who are now young adults.  She homeschooled for 20 years, and taught co-op classes in history, language arts, art, and art history prior to the opportunity to teach full time at FCA. She loves to read and her recent favorite pastime is to listen to an audio book, while painting complex paint-by-number pieces.  


    Her life verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

  • Cheryl Kramer

    Teacher: MS/HS Math and HS Science


    Cheryl Kramer moved to Tucson in 1987 to attend the University of Arizona where she received her B.S. in Molecular Biology and her Masters in Business Administration. She worked at the Arizona Cancer Center for 13 years before becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom. Since then, Cheryl has worked as a school secretary, interim school principal, substitute teacher, math tutor and PTO treasurer as well as being involved in numerous volunteer activities. Cheryl and her husband, Ken, have two daughters. 


    Cheryl is a full-time teacher but will remain a member of the administrative team.  She is so excited to be part of the FCA family and loves showing the students how God can be found in math and science.  She will be teaching Math 8/7, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Biology.  


    Cheryl's life passage is Psalm 139.

  • Lisa Lewis

    Teacher: MS Bible, HS Spanish, Language Assistance


    Lisa Lewis is a third generation missionary kid who was raised in the jungles of South America.  She attended Bible College where she met her husband, Kevin.   They were married in 1986 and they have three grown children.  Lisa served alongside her husband and children for 23 years as a missionary in Colombia and Venezuela, South America and as well as in Mexico.  She has a heart for Latinos and has a passion for all people to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ.  She and Keven moved here to Tucson in 2016.  Both continue serving the Lord, in ministry here in Arizona.  Her desire is to be used by God in the lives of the students.


    One of her many favorite Bible verses is: Psalm 138:8 “The LORD will complete what his purpose is for me.  LORD, your gracious love is eternal; do not abandon your personal work in me." (ISV) 

  • Gay Menditto

    Gay Menditto…has been involved in education for many years. She has taught

    in several grade levels and subjects. Her fields have included public, charter,

    Christian, and homeschool venues. The performing arts is also one of her greatest

    passions and she has been involved with production for most of her life. She loves

    students of all ages and endeavors to find ways to challenge and motivate them

    to find the excitement of learning. Most of all, she loves the Lord her God with all

    her heart and desires that all will come to love Him and embrace His plan for their

    lives.

  • Naomi Osterbaan

    Teacher: Middle School Language Arts, MS Science


    Mrs. Osterbaan is an ACSI and AZ State certified teacher. She has been teaching for twenty years, ranging from Kindergarten to 9th grade with most of her teaching experience being in Christian schools. Naomi has two children and a husband who fully supports her teaching at FCA. She is also the proud grandma of one grandson.


     "Being at FCA is a pleasure. Students are eager and willing to learn, parents are supportive and friendly, and it is a delight to work with the staff. The atmosphere at FCA is Christ centered and I feel honored to come each day." 


    Naomi will be teaching Language Arts and Science.

  • Leisa Seals

    Teacher:  MS History, HS Geography, HS Art History


    Mrs. Seals was born in Wyoming; however she has lived in Tucson since she was 18 months old. She and her husband Randy have two daughters and two granddaughters. Leisa studied music for three years at the U of A. She focused on History and Art for four years at Pima college where she earned her Associate's Degree in General Studies. Her heart's desire is to serve God where she can freely share her love of the Lord. "The Lord opened the door for me at FCA, and I haven't looked back. I am grateful and privileged to have this opportunity." 

  • Linda Gomez

    Linda Gomez is one of the original parents who was behind the starting up of Faith Christian Academy in 2010.  Linda is a native Tucsonan, born and raised on Tucson's east side.  She graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1984, and shortly thereafter went to work for the Tucson Police Department, where she met her husband Rene. Linda has a deep love of learning and teaching, believing that she has been gifted and called by God to work with His children here in this life.  Two of Linda’s favorite verses are Matthew 6:19-21, which teach us about not storing up treasures here on earth, but to store up treasures in heaven; and Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."  The only way to renew your mind to know God's will is by studying His Word in the Bible.
